A 6-year-old child was killed in a logging accident Wednesday afternoon in the Hesterville community of Attala County.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at a logging job site in the woods, where the child was reportedly hit by a log truck.
Attala County Coroner Sam Bell pronounced the child deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified Timber Taylor, 6, of Montgomery County, MS.
