A strong show of faith and unity was on display as community members gathered in large numbers for a prayer vigil Tuesday evening at Crestview Church.

The event was well attended, with people from across Attala County coming together during a time of grief and reflection. Several area pastors led the service, offering prayers for those directly affected by recent tragedies, as well as for the county’s youth, local law enforcement, and the overall strength and unity of the community.

The vigil concluded with attendees standing together to sing “Amazing Grace”.

I don’t know what tragedies have happened here but this multi faith prayer vigil is a beautiful reminder that God loves each and every one of us the same and wants only good for us all.
