At about 5:40 AM, Attala County Sheriffs were notified of a cow in the road on Attala Rd. 2111 near the Yockanookany Wildlife Management Area between Ethel and McCool.
Upon arrival, the cow was nowhere to be found but soon reports came in that there were now four disrupting traffic. Their numbers later increased to as many as seventeen before the owner managed to start wrangling them at about 7:15 AM.
