At 6:06 am Attala Deputies, Ethel Volunteers along with Attala Fire Central Station were dispatched to Hannah Heights in Ethel for a report of a possible structure fire. The caller said there was smoke coming from the laundromat. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and confirmed smoke coming from the building. Firefighters checked the building and found a dryer to be the cause of the smoke. No injuries were reported.
At 7:12 pm Attala Deputies and MedStat EMS responded to a report of an ATV accident on Grapevine Street in Sallis. Officers on scene said one male was complaining of shoulder pain.
