At 6:47 am Attala Deputies and MedStat EMS responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA. The caller said they hit a gorse on highway 12 east near Attala Road 214. They said a white 2011 Chevrolet Taverse had hit a horse. The driver reported shoulder pain at the time of the call.

At 8:58 am Attala Deputes and the Mississippi Highway Patrol were called to highway 12 west near Horne’s Grocery. The caller said they hit a deer and only needed a report.

At 2:30 pm Kosciusko Police and Attala Deputies were notified to look for a light purple Toyota. The manager of Goodies said a subject took something and ran from the store before leaving in the vehicle. It was last seen traveling south on highway  35. No tag was displayed on the vehicle.

At 3:27 pm Kosciusko Police and Animal Control were called to the 500 block of martin Luther King Drive for a report of a snake in the house.

At 7:38 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire responded to a report of a possible power line fire. Firefighters arrived on scene and report a small fire at the base of a fence. All the flames were extinguished and Kosciusko Water and Light was called to repair a transformer.
