At 10:17 pm on December 19, 2017 Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, Sallis Volunteers along with Attala Fire responded to a residence on Attala Road 4981 for smoke in the attic. After arriving on scene firefighters reported no smoke or fire and they would be investigating.
At 9:09 am Kosciusko Police and City Fire were dispatched to 4th Avenue in front of Kosciusko Upper Elementary for a report of a minor auto accident. No injuries were reported.
At 6:05 pm Attala Deputies, Sallis Volunterers, MedStat EMS along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA. The caller said it was just off highway 14 west on a paved road to the right beofre you reach Nowel Lake. The car had run off in a ditch. No word on injuries.
