The Ethel High School baseball team has canceled its Meet the Tigers event that was scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, due to severe cold weather.
The event was set to include a meet and greet with players, an alumni home run derby, and a scrimmage at the Ethel High School baseball field.
Despite the cancellation, Ethel Baseball will return to action on Monday with a scrimmage beginning at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the team.
In addition, the baseball program will be accepting canned goods at the scrimmage to help individuals in the local community.
