The Ethel Tiger softball team has punched its ticket to the 1A South State Championship series.
After losing Game 1 against Hamilton Friday night, the Lady Tigers bounced back by winning a double-header Saturday in Ethel to advance to the semifinals.
Boasting a record of 4-1 in postseason play, the Lady Tigers will travel to Vardaman for game one of the South State Championship Series Friday, May 3 and will host games two and three (if needed) Saturday, May 4.
