The Ethel Lady Tigers opened the third round of the MHSAA 1A Softball Playoffs with a big win, defeating Stringer 10–3 in Game 1 of their best-of-three series.
With the win, Ethel takes a 1–0 lead in the series and moves within one game of advancing to the South State Championship.
Game 2 is set for Monday in Ethel, where the Lady Tigers will look to close out the series on their home field and continue their playoff run.
