The Holmes Community College Bulldogs were back home in Goodman tonight to host the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves from Wesson. The Bulldogs trailed the Wolves by 7 points by halftime, 20-13. In the second half, the Wolves outscored the Bulldogs 3 touchdowns to 1 in the 3rd quarter to take a 20 point lead, 40-20 going into the final quarter. The Bulldogs scored very early in the 4th quarter to cut into the Wolves lead but the Wolves would respond later in the quarter with a touchdown of their own to end the scoring drives for the night and give the Wolves a 20 point victory, 47-27. Tyran Mosley was named tonight’s Sullivan’s Drugs and Gifts player of the game. The Bulldogs travel to Hinds Community College next Thursday night, kickoff set for 6:30pm with live coverage starting with the pregame show at 6:00pm on Breezy 103.7 and breezynews.com.
