Holmes Falls to Northwest Rangers in Close-Fought Finish

Still undefeated, the Holmes Bulldogs traveled to Senatobia to play the Northwest Community College Rangers.

After scoring a touchdown on the opening play of the game by the Bulldogs, Northwest controlled the rest of the first half, 28-7.

The Bulldogs staged a comeback in the second half, taking the lead, 35-31, with twelve seconds left in the game!  But Northwest came back with a Hail Mary pass.  The Rangers won 37-35.

John Ford was named the Sullivan’s Drugs and Gifts Player of the Game.

Next week, join us earlier on Thursday afternoon when Holmes celebrates Homecoming on Halloween.  Kickoff is scheduled for three.  Tune in earlier for the pre-game show.
