UPDATE: The home was completely destroyed in the fire. The cause is under investigation, but a neighbor reported hearing electrical arcing just before the fire was discovered.
Attala County Fire Department is currently battling a blaze at a residence on Attala Road 5006.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
It is currently unknown if anyone was home at the time the fire started. No injuries have been reported.
Firefighters continue to work to extinguish the fire.
