The Attala County Library has released its full calendar of events for June 2026, packed with fun, educational, and hands-on activities as part of the popular “Unearth a Story” Summer Library Program.
This month’s programming features four exciting themed weeks:
Dinosaur Week – June 2–4 (12:00–3:00 PM)
Egyptology Week – June 9–11 (12:00–3:00 PM)
Geology Week – June 16–18 (12:00–3:00 PM)
Prehistoric Week – June 23–25 (12:00–3:00 PM)

In addition to themed weeks, the library will host its ongoing popular programs, including:
Toddler Takeover (multiple dates at 10:00 AM)
Youth Collective (several dates at 3:30 PM)
Teen programs such as Pottery for Teens, Wire Wrapped Jewelry, Geodes for Teens, and Teen Junk Journals
Family Movie Nights
Master Builders, Family Escape Room, Family Duck-erating, and more

The Summer Library Program is designed to keep kids reading, learning, and having fun all summer long. Summer reading logs are available, and registration is not required to participate.
