Kosciusko-Attala Career and Technical Center (KACTC) is recognizing its instructors during Teacher Appreciation Week, highlighting the important role they play in preparing students for college, careers, and beyond.
KACTC programs are led by a team of educators who bring real-world experience into the classroom each day. Instructors include Alex Blanton (Automotive Service), James “Bubba” Hodges (Construction Technology), Kenneth Georgia (Diversified Agriculture), Tessa Horn (Educator Prep), Amy Price (Health Science), Betty Bermond (Keystone Career Exploration/Work-Based Learning), Sheri Burrell (Multimedia), and Trey Culpepper (Welding).
Through hands-on instruction and industry-based learning, KACTC teachers provide students with practical skills and knowledge that translate directly to the workforce. Their efforts go beyond technical training, as they also mentor students in professionalism, responsibility, and lifelong learning.
