The Kosciusko-Attala Career Technical Center (KATC) is encouraging students to explore available course options as registration begins for the upcoming school year.
KATC offers a variety of hands-on programs designed to provide students with practical skills and real-world experience in several career pathways, including technical trades, health sciences, and business-related fields. Officials say these programs are intended to help prepare students for both college and entry into the workforce.
With course selection now underway, students are encouraged to consider their interests and future goals when choosing classes. Career and technical education programs can provide opportunities for certifications, internships, and early career experience.
“Now is the perfect time for students to explore what’s available and take the next step toward their future,” staff members emphasized.
To help students and families learn more about available programs, KATC has released an informational video highlighting its courses, facilities, and student experiences.
Students and parents are encouraged to watch the video and contact their school counselor for more information before course selections close.
