The still-undefeated Kosciusko Whippets football team traveled to Indianola Friday evening to take on the Gentry Rams in the first game of regional play.
The Whippets ran the first quarter with a score of 14-0, and 21-0 at the half. Continuing their shutout, it was 35-0 after the third quarter and 48-0 for the final.
The offensive line was named the Autumn Ridge Players of the Game. Now, that is something to smile about!
Next week will arguably be the regular season game of the year when the home team hosts perennial powerhouse and rival, the Louisville Wildcats. All Whippets football broadcasts are available on Breezy 103, breezynews.com, the Breezy 103 app, and on YouTube on Boswell Media’s Breezy 103 channel.
