The Kosciusko Lady Whippets are the champions of Region 4-4A.
The team clinched the championship with a 15-5 win over Leake Central Wednesday afternoon.
This is the seventh year in a row the Whippets have won or shared the Region 4-4A Championship.
Winning the region championship gives the team a bye in the first round of the MHSAA Softball Playoffs.
The Whippets will begin postseason play on Monday, April 22.
