The Kosciusko Whippets football team traveled all the way to Fulton Friday night to play the Itawamba Agricultural High School Indians in the next round of the playoffs.
With the first score going to the Whippets, the first quarter score was 7-0. The second quarter added another Whippets touchdown. Halftime score, 14-0. In a more-spirited third quarter, both teams scored, with the third quarter 33-7. With a final of 40-14, Kosciusko moves on to the third round of the playoffs for the first time since 2015!
Caiden Wade was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game.
