Kosciusko High School standout Rylee Peteet has been named one of Mississippi’s top returning high school offensive linemen heading into the 2026 football season by The Clarion-Ledger.
The newspaper included Peteet on its preseason watch list featuring many of the state’s top returning offensive linemen from both the MHSAA and MAIS.
Peteet, a senior, is listed at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds and helped lead Kosciusko to the MHSAA Class 4A State Championship game during the 2025 season.
The Whippet offensive lineman currently holds an offer from Baylor.
Fans can vote for who they believe is the state’s top returning offensive lineman. Voting is open now and fans may vote once per hour per device through noon Friday, July 17.

Other players included on the statewide list are Antonio Berry (Tupelo), DJ Dotson (Oak Grove), Caden Moss (Jackson Academy), Tanner Seaton (Madison Central), Ford Wade (Oxford), and several other top returning offensive linemen from across Mississippi.
