A bill authorizing Kosciusko leaders to put a restaurant tax referendum on the ballot awaits action by two Senate committees in Jackson.   The bill passed the House last week and Monday was referred to both the Local and Private and Finance committees in the Senate.   It would authorize the ballot proposal to add a two per cent tax on the sale of prepared food and beverages in the city with the revenue earmarked for tourism promotion and parks and recreation.
