Alyssa Newsome, a 7th grader at McAdams High School, has been invited by the Duke University Talent Identification Program to attend the 2018 Mississippi Recognition Ceremony.
The ceremony honors students in the 7th grade talent search with superior ACT or SAT scores.
The program will be held at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS on June 2, 2018.
Alyssa is the daughter of Arrik and Angie Newsome.
