A large quantity of meth was taken off the streets of Kosciusko during a traffic stop in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Quincey Donta Brown, 29, of Kosciusko, was arrested when KPD Officer Tommy Moore located more than 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a considerable amount of marijuana, cocaine, weapons, and drug paraphernalia in Brown’s possession.
Brown was transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility and faces the following charges, with a total bond set at $152,217.25:
• Two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute
• Two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
• Trafficking a controlled substance
• Possession of paraphernalia
• Driving under the influence
• Insurance violation
• Improper equipment
