Later, at about 3:00 PM, they received another call regarding a fire that started behind a structure and spread into the woods. The firefighters were able to easily douse the blaze and soak the area to prevent rekindling.
Minutes later, around 3:15, another call came in about a fire on Hwy 14 W. The blaze has consumed around 25 acres. It is believed to have started as a controlled burn that got out. Forestry was contacted to help contain the flames.
