Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia will officially unveil its new Safe Haven Baby Box during a blessing ceremony on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 2 p.m.
The Safe Haven Baby Box will be at Neshoba General Hospital and gives mothers in crisis a safe, anonymous, and legal option to surrender an infant.
Safe Haven Baby Boxes are equipped with an alarm system that alerts first responders when an infant is placed inside. The door automatically locks when closed, allowing emergency personnel to quickly retrieve the baby and provide medical care.
The public is invited to attend the November 9 ceremony and learn more about Safe Haven Baby Boxes.
