Celebrate National “BOOOOK” Month with a full lineup of fall events at the Attala County Library on Huntington Street:
- Costume Swap Shop: Drop off gently used costumes starting Oct. 1st. Swap shop runs Oct. 14th & 15th (1–4 PM).
- Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Drop off painted or decorated pumpkins (no carvings!) Oct. 19th–27th. Judging takes place Oct. 28th.
- Terry Vandeventer Book Signing: Monday, Oct. 19th at 6:00 PM.
- Used Book Sale: Oct. 22nd & 23rd (9 AM–4 PM).
- Fall Craft Week: Drop in daily Oct. 5th–9th (10 AM–3 PM).
The library also hosts regular programs, including Toddler Takeover (Thursdays, 10 AM), Story Explorers (Mondays, 3:30 PM), and Women’s Fitness (Tuesdays, 11 AM).
