The Ethel Tigers volleyball team captured the Region 5-1A District Championship Thursday night with a 3-0 win against Nanih Waiya.
The win caps off a perfect 10-0 record in the district and keeps the Tigers unbeaten at 21-0 on the season.
Winning the district gives the Tigers a No. 1 seed the post season.
Ethel only has two games remaining in the regular season: Monday, Sept. 30 vs Pisgah and Thursday, Oct. 2 at East Webster.
