The Kosciusko-Attala Career Tech Center (KACTC) recently celebrated student achievement and dedication during its annual Awards Day ceremony, recognizing those who have completed career and technical programs and taken important steps toward their futures.
Students were honored for successfully completing their programs, marking the culmination of two years of focused, career-oriented study. School officials said program completion represents a significant milestone that reflects students’ perseverance and commitment to developing real-world skills.
In addition to completion awards, several students were recognized for their intent to continue their education or pursue careers within their chosen fields. These acknowledgments highlight the center’s commitment to preparing students for life after graduation, whether that path leads to college, technical training, or direct entry into the workforce.
One of the major highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of students who earned national certifications. These certifications demonstrate mastery of industry standards and signal readiness for professional environments, giving students a competitive advantage as they move forward in their careers or education.
The ceremony also honored KACTC Student Ambassadors, recognizing their leadership, professionalism, and service to the school. Student Ambassadors play a key role in representing the center by welcoming visitors, assisting with events, and promoting career and technical education programs.
KACTC officials said Awards Day serves as a reminder of the impact of career and technical education and celebrates students who are prepared to take the next step toward their goals.
