$16,894.12 was raised in Leake County Friday as Boswell Media kicked off its Make-A-Wish Mississippi Radiothons. That total includes in person and online donations. Citizens throughout the community showed up to donate and help grant wishes for critically ill children in our local communities. CLICK HERE to donate.
The “Jail & Bail” portion of the Make-A-Wish MS Radiothons is a crowd favorite, and several local officials and community members were “locked up” today. They were tasked with raising money for their “bail”. Multiple participants raised thousands of dollars toward the cause.
Boswell Media’s Make-A-Wish MS Radiothons will continue next week. The Philadelphia Radiothon will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Philadelphia Market & Deli. The Kosciusko Radiothon is Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Kangaroo Crossing on Hwy 12.
