A unique combination fly-in and car show is coming to the Kosciusko-Attala County Airport on Saturday, Oct. 17, to raise funds for a vital regional cause.

The event, hosted in partnership with Franks Chevrolet and the Kosy Cruisers Car Club, will benefit Pilots for Patients, an organization that provides free air transportation for patients in need of specialized medical care. Local pilots Stephen Franks and Ryan Lindsey regularly volunteer with the organization to fly individuals from Mississippi and Louisiana to Houston for specialized cancer treatments at no cost.

“We appreciate Stephen and all the other pilots who donate their time, their planes and their fuel to help people,” said Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle.
