Attala County Sheriff Curtis Pope has announced two key promotions within the department. Jaroderick Teague has been promoted to Sergeant, and Kelly Mitchell has been elevated to Chief Deputy.
Since taking office, Sheriff Pope has been evaluating the department and expressed his admiration for his team. “These are great people and they deserve the promotion,” he said regarding Teague and Mitchell.
Chief Deputy Mitchell stated that he looks forward to supporting the Sheriff in his administration. Similarly, Sergeant Teague is happy to assist Sheriff Pope in his leadership.
