Reports of smoke in a room at Presbyterian Day School on Smythe Street called for Kosciusko firefighters and police at 11:33 a.m. Wednesday.

Workers at the school quickly got everyone out of the building, and firefighters soon arrived.

The smoke reportedly came from an extension cord that shorted out. The cord was plugged into an outlet inside the building and used to power an inflatable outside.
