The local area and much of Mississippi remain under a Level-2 “slight” risk of severe weather for Wednesday. Forecasters say damaging winds will be possible during the day and evening as a cold front collides with unseasonably warm air over Mississippi. Conditions won’t be favorable for tornadoes but they can’t be ruled out.
