Update: This boil water alert has been lifted.
The officials of the Town of Ethel have issued a boil water notice to those customers on the town water system due to a drop in pressure on the line.
This includes the whole town.
Customers are urged to boil the water for at least three minutes before drinking.
Residents will be notified once testing has determined the water is safe.
