At 5:30 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA. The caller said it was located on highway 12 west at the West Jefferson intersection.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and notified responding units that there were two possible patients. One complaining of head pain and one with lacerations to their face. One or both were transported by private vehicle to Baptist-Attala for medical treatment.
Authorities on the scene tell Breezy News that the Nissan was traveling east. It was attempting to turn into a driveway when it crossed in the path of the oncoming pickup when the collision occurred.
