WLBT News got reports that the Attala County Coliseum warming shelter was without heat during the ice storm. Mayor Tim Kyle responded that funds were unavailable and this was a county issue. When men, women, boys, girls and even the elderly and infants, are exposed to below freezing temperatures; it’s disheartening when it’s a city or county responsibility to supply shelter to the less fortunate. When are we going to put aside our differences and care for the needy? When will the city and county get together and say “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord::” Isaiah 1:18. On January 27, 2026, WLBT Nightly News, FEMA, Acting Regional Administrator, Mr Rob Ashe, had plenty to give (a land flowing with milk and honey.) Mayor Kyle, in closing, “Teach me to do thy will, for thy are my God.” Psalm 143:10

It will be a blessing to share the above with your colleagues who can make a difference in someone’s life One Day At A Time Sweet Jesus. Amen

That is such a blessing to do that. I was wondering where the people will go to get warm. 🤔

And do tell us what you have done Obie B to help? Or do you think someone must be a Christian to be expected to lend a hand?
