The Attala County School District announced that all bus routes will resume normal operations this afternoon, March 30.
Officials said students will be dropped off at their regular afternoon bus stops, including those who were transported to school by parents Monday morning.
School officials thanked parents for their cooperation as safety precautions were put in place earlier in the day due to the ongoing manhunt.
March 29 – The Attala County School District announced Monday that two bus routes will not run due to the ongoing manhunt related to Sunday’s deadly shooting.
The affected routes are those of Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Veasley.
Parents are asked to bring students to school if possible.
If transportation is not available, they are asked to notify their child’s school office Monday morning.
Officials thanked parents for their understanding and emphasized that the safety of students and staff remains the top priority.
