Attala County firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at a residence on Attala Rd. 2211 Wednesday afternoon.
The property owner was reportedly working outside when he noticed a fire in the bed of his truck. He quickly removed the contents, limiting damage to the vehicle. However, the fire spread into a nearby wooded area.
The Attala County Fire Department arrived on scene and was able to quickly contain the woods fire. No injuries were reported.
