Emergency responders were called to a one-vehicle crash on Hwy 43 South near the county line Tuesday afternoon. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
According to reports, the driver was out of the vehicle before first responders arrived, but complained of neck and back pain. The crash may have been caused by a medical emergency.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala for treatment.
