Having lost to the Mooreville Troopers on Friday evening, the Whippets returned to the home field on Saturday in a must-win situation to progress in the playoffs. But they could never get much traction, and the final score was 11-2.
The seniors, Nolen Yuille and Walker Hill, were named the Autumn Ridge Players of the Game.
