KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A large tree fell across both lanes of Hwy. 19 north near Kosciusko Friday afternoon.
The call came in aboy 6 p.m. and dispatchers learned from a second call that the tree was blocking both lanes and MDOT had been notified to help with removal.
A group of people got a truck, hooked to it and pulled it ut of the road.
But, the top half of the tree was still in the road and MDOT was still notified so they could help get that part out of the highway.
