The Durant Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Nov. 24, 2025, at the intersection of Sgt. Kevin Gaston Street and Cedar Street.
Authorities are also searching for a stolen vehicle believed to be connected to the incident. The vehicle is described as a 2023 Nissan Rogue, silver/gunmetal in color, with Holmes Community College logos on the doors. The SUV was reported stolen from the Holmes Community College Goodman Campus.
