The Kosciusko Whippets football team traveled to Florence to play the Eagles Friday night.
The Whippets scored the first two touchdowns on their first two possessions. Adding a safety, the first quarter was 15-0, Kosciusko. The home team added a field goal at the beginning of the second quarter. Continuing their domination, Kosciusko led 25-0 at the half.
Florence opened the third quarter with a touchdown, 25-6. But the Whippets held on for the win, 46-16.
