KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A grass fire was reported Saturday afternoon on Attala Rd. 5224 near Tabernacle Church.
The fire was first called in by a volunteer firefighter who spotted the fire near a house just before 3 p.m.
Once firefighters from Providence and Central arrived they saw the fire was not endangering the house, but was purely a grass fire.
The fire was contained quickly.
