KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A fire was reported just after 1:15 p.m. New Year’s Day.
The structure involved was a mobile home on Attala Rd. 2144, which is north of McCool near Hwy. 12.
When Attala Co. firefighters arrived on scene they reported that the home was fully involved. They immediately began putting water on the fire.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to stand by in case of injuries.
It was unclear if anyone was actually hurt in the fire. Someone was treated for smoke inhalation.
