KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–Just after 7 Friday night dispatchers for Attala County got several calls about two cars speeding, passing other vehicles and doing burnout on Hwy. 12.
The cars were also possibly racing, said a couple of the callers.
Both Attala County deputies and Kosciusko Police were sent to wait on the cars as they approached Kosciusko. One was possibly a Charger or Challenger and the other was a Camaro.
One of the cars was able to either stop or find an exit before coming into town. The other was stopped as it turned left onto Jefferson St. behind Fair Propone.
One of the people in the car was taken into custody.
