Court Document Filed After Mayor’s Swearing In

Several hours after Tim Kyle was sworn in for another term as mayor of Kosciusko Monday, a court document was filed with the Attala County Circuit Clerk that may be related to the election.  Monday was the deadline for Marvin Myles Junior to file a petition challenging the results of the election which he lost to Kyle by 26 votes, according to the final official count.  But it’s not clear what type of document was filed.  Boswell Media will have more details on Tuesday.

Kyle and members of the Kosciusko Board of Aldermen took their oaths of office Monday morning.  Their new terms begin July 1.

There’s no need to try to rush or force it, just be patient. The change that some think they have to have will be here soon enough.

Tim Kyle won though. They have counted and recounted votes for 2 weeks. This is ridiculous!

There has not been a recount! They inspected the boxes.
