At 06:39 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, Providence and Ethel Volunteers along with Attala Fire Central Station were called to the intersection of Attala Road 5053 and Attala Road 5224 for a report of a woods fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire by 7:09 pm.
