The Kosciusko Whippets basketball team played the Lions of Rosa Fort in the quarter finals.
The Lions led 17-14 at the end of the first quarter. 31-28, Lions led at the half. After the halftime break, the Whippets took off and took the lead, 55-43 after three quarters. And the home team came out triumphant with a final of 75-56.
Jamarien Nash was named the Player of the Game.
The Whippets advance to the semi finals at the Mississippi State Coliseum, where they will face off against Morton, Tuesday, March 3 at noon.
