More Storms Possible in This Area Today

Some areas got more than just rain yesterday.  There were some strong wind gusts and hail too.  As severe storms moved through, a tree was knocked down in Neshoba County on Marty Stuart Drive near Highway 19 southeast of Arlington.  And pea-sized hail was reported in the Pearl River Community and on Highway 21 northeast of Philadelphia.  The National Weather Service says there’s a Level-1 “marginal” risk of isolated severe storms again today across most of the local area, including Attala, Leake, Neshoba, Winston and Choctaw counties.  Damaging wind gusts will be possible during the afternoon and early evening hours.
