Funeral services were held today, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 for Roy R. Williams, 68, who passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Williams is the former fire chief of the Attala County Fire Department. He was the first African American fire chief to serve at the Attala County Fire Department, and served the citizens of Attala County as a firemen for a total of 32 years.
